Join NowAs a land developer, you now have an organization that truly advocates for your interests. Whether your projects involve brownfields, greenfields, smart growth, quality growth, single-family, multi-family, residential, commercial, office, or all of the above, SLDI provides the resources and opportunities for you to enhance your ability to maximize your profit, deliver greater value to your clients and customers, and be a steward for the environment at the same time.

SLDI is a multi-disciplinary organization, but it operates with you, the developer, at the center of its universe. Unlike other organizations, SLDI recognizes that nothing happens in this industry until visionary, risk-taking, team-building developers make it happen. The time is long overdue for an industry organization to operate in ways consistent with that reality.

Land developers have a controlling interest on the SLDI board of directors, and have the opportunity to own the greatest member share of the company. Further, SLDI works on behalf of members to negotiate special discounts on numerous products and services that you and your project team members purchase for your projects.

All members start their membership as Associate Members. Then, based on their successful completion of nine examinations that comprise the SLDI professional certification program , they graduate into Certified Membership and enjoy even greater member rewards.
