Important Note: All individuals are initially accepted into SLDI as Associate Members and receive all benefits outlined in the appropriate membership menu selection above. While SLDI is a cooperative organization, Associate Member dues do not constitute an equity investment in the cooperative.
Upon the achievement (and maintenance) of professional certification, Land Developer, Land Professional and Government Representative Associate Members become Member Owners, which provides profit-sharing opportunities which are not afforded to Associate Members. Additionally, all Member Owners have the opportunity to vote on and run for a seat on the SLDI Board of Directors and/or further guide organizational direction through participation in a number of additional organizational governance opportunities. Government Representatives, Educators, Students and Organization Representatives are not eligible.
